Reactive Urethane Acrylate for UV-Applications

Robert Kraemer has supplemented its UV binder range with two urethane acrylates. Rokracure VP 5661 and Rokracure VP 5762 are highly reactive, well-adherent and wetting main binders for lacquer and printing ink applications. The customer demands for higher hardening speeds in the urethane acrylate segment, in addition to optimized adhesion, have therefore been met.
In comparison to its di-functional predecessor Rokracure VP 5199, the tri-functional Rokracure VP 5661 combines good flexibility and adhesion with a high reactivity.
Rokracure VP 5762 has a functionality of 3,5 and a further increased reactivity and higher hardening values, without losing adhesion.
Both resins are also well-wetting and have a high chemical and water stability.

Tackifiers for low VOC flooring adhesives with German environmental label “Blue Angel”

Bremasin VP 5737 is a tackifier with low VOC-values in accordance with the EC1-norm, and fulfils the requirements under the German environmental label “Blue Angel” according to RAL UZ 113. Despite the modified structure, it can be emulsified just as well as the EC1 standard type Bremasin 1605 and shows excellent adhesion.
The additionally available extremely low viscous Bremasin VP 5770 is also ”RAL-conform”, and is used as a melting resin for hard resins. It does not only serve as a diluter or softener, but also improves adhesion properties. The special advantage of this new soft resin is that during the manufacturing of aqueous flooring adhesives, the use of high-boiling plasticizing or softening agents, such as adipates, citrates, dibentoates or styrolized phenol, can be avoided.

UV resins with sustainable advantages

Robert Kraemer offers a set of UV-curing resins with a high amount of renewable resources.
They are differntiated between main binders with a required quantity of 30-50%, combination resins (required quantity 20-30%) and adhesion resins (required qunatity 5-15%).
All resins have outstanding adhesion and wetting properties as well as a very high content of renewable resources up to 83%. Special modifications allow improvement of adhesion on different substates like metal or plastic.

Ecological polyols for 2K-PUR applications

With the products Rokrapol VP 5035, VP 5158, VP 5161 and VP 5162 Robert Kraemer provides ecological polyols which show in spite of the OH-functionality a high aliphatic tolerance. Thereby the adhesion properties on fatty and oily substrates will be increased. Because of the ecological modification the wetting properties will be improved in order to obtain higher pigment or filling rates. The high resistance of the resins results no changes in hardness, adhesion and flexibility of the film on water strain in long-term stress-test. The chemical resistance against sulphuric acid and alkaline media is given, too. Stress-tests with sundry solvents like MEK cause any damages on the film. The used content of renewable raw materials for the new polyols is between 92 and 100 %.
